I assume that you have installed Python.
- First of all, Eric needs a few prerequisites which are (fortunately) available from http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/software/pyqt/download
- Download the binary packages for windows.
- Download Eric.
- Install the binary packages.
- Extract Eric to a place of your choosing.
- Run install.py
- Run [c:\ericdir]\eric\eric4.py and you’re off!
